  1. Steep dates in warm water for 10 minutes
  2. While dates steep, add the walnuts and almonds to blender or food processor and finely grind
  3. Add dates and all remaining ingredients to the ground nuts and blend until well combined. You want the mixture to have a doughy consistency
  4. Roll the ‘dough’ into balls and sprinkle with your favorite toppings
  5. Enjoy right away for gooey chocolaty goodness or refrigerate to let the balls set
