Green Goddess Juice is a vibrant and refreshing green juice full of nourishing vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants. Made using just a blender!
I absolutely love green juice. The flood of vitamins and minerals that I get from drinking a fresh juice makes me feel AMAZING and gives me a clean rush of energy!
But I dread having to pull out my juicer. Juicing is a slow and tedious process that I simply don’t have the time for most days.
It’s probably my fault for using a cheap juicer. It definitely gets the job done, but it’s just too slow for me.
But with a powerful blender like my Vitamix and some cheese cloth or a nut milk bag, you can have fresh juice ready in just minutes! Plus the clean up is wayyy easier.

You can still make green juice in a blender even with a less powerful blender, but the amount of juice that you yield will be much much lower.
It would probably be more worth your time and money to buy your juice. Luckily, my favorite juice company Jus By Julie runs frequent promotions and discounts so you’ll always find a good deal!
Green juices vs. green smoothies
A question that I get asked a lot is why drink juices instead of just a smoothie? The short answer is you should drink both but for different reasons!
The main difference between juices and smoothies is that the plant fiber is maintained in smoothies and removed in juices.
We all need fiber to promote gut health and keep us regular, but removing the fiber can provide some unique benefits to juice drinkers.
You do need to be aware though, removing the fiber significantly speeds up digestion, so if your juice has lots of fruit and is high in sugar it will spike your blood sugar!
Green Juice
- Nutrients are digested & absorbed faster
- More vitamins, minerals, & antioxidants per serving
- Low in calories & less filling
- More veggies & less fruit
Green Smoothies
- Full of beneficial fiber that promotes gut health
- Much more filling, can be used as a meal replacement
- Easy to boost with a variety of superfoods and protein powders
- More fruit can be added without spiking blood sugar
My favorite part about juicing is that you can fit way more veggies into one serving because the juice isn’t as filling without all of the fiber.
This recipe filled my entire 64 oz. blender jar! Trying to eat that many veggies or drink them in a smoothie would be basically impossible but with a green juice it’s easy (and delicious).
Juices are pretty much a super concentrated glass of nutrition! Although less concentrated than these ginger turmeric immunity shots.
That’s also why I love the occasional juice cleanse. It’s a great way to flood you body with vitamins and minerals while giving it a break from the artificial junk found in a lot of modern foods.
Here’s 5 delicious juice cleanse recipes that you can make at home. Just make sure you know how to properly prepare for a cleanse before you get started!
How To Make
Blender Green Juice
Wash and dry all of the fresh produce. Peel the lemon and a 1 inch piece of ginger. Core and seed the apples.
Add all ingredients to a high powered blender (you’ll need a large 64 oz blender jar to fit it all at once). Blend on high until fully broken down and liquefied, about 60 seconds.
Fresh Tip: You’ll need a high speed blender to get a good yield out of your green juice. I use this Vitamix and love it. I recommend checking the Vitamix website for deals because they run frequent promotions. Here’s an article that compares all the best Vitamix blenders to help you decide which one is right for you!
Strain the blended juice through a nut milk bag over a large bowl or pitcher. Work in batches, squeezing to get all of the juice out.
Once no more juice is coming out, empty the nut milk bag and pour more blended juice in.
How to Store green goddess juice
My biggest gripe with fresh juice is how quickly it goes bad. As soon as you make it, the juice begins oxidizing (the natural process that turns fruit brown).
The oxidation process degrades the nutrients in the juice so it is best to drink it as soon as possible.
To maximize the shelf life of your juice and minimize oxidation, store your juice in an airtight jar in the fridge.
You should fill the jar to the very top with juice so there is the least amount of air in the jar as possible. I use this 6-pack of glass bottles to store my juices.
Properly stored juice can last 2-4 days in the fridge. But good luck keeping it for that long, it’s so delicious that I usually finish a whole batch in 1 day!
